Novice Academic Nurse Faculty
Orientation Program
This orientation program is intended for novice nurse faculty in Worcester, MA schools of nursing, to assist with transitioning to the clinical educator role. Adjunct, part-time, and full-time novice faculty may benefit from completing this program during the first year of teaching.
This program offers an orientation to the teaching role of the novice educator. Basic knowledge helpful for getting started in the clinical setting is presented. Exposure to basic knowledge will help the novice gain awareness of the science of nursing education and begin to identify knowledge and skill needs in this area of nursing practice.
